We don’t just treat illness. We build health — village by village.
At Clinic Yaye Natou, care doesn’t stop at our front door. From urban Dakar to rural Kaffrine, our mission is simple: **bring healthcare closer, make it more human, and leave no one behind.
Founded by Dr. Saloum Cissé — a Senegalese-born, U.S.-trained physician — our clinic was always meant to serve more than patients. It was meant to serve people, families, and communities in ways the system often forgets.
Build and equip maternal health clinics in remote regions like Nganda
Train thousands of community health workers to provide first-response care
Run free health fairs with screenings, checkups, and education for families
Deliver public awareness campaigns around hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
We work hand-in-hand with FOHSEN (Foundation for a Healthier Senegal), a nonprofit co-founded by Dr. Cissé that delivers vital care where it's needed most — in hard-to-reach villages, underserved towns, and neglected health zones.
Our impact so far
10,000+ patients cared for across Dakar and rural Senegal
100+ community health workers trained and equipped
75% reduction in patient travel time for maternal care in FOHSEN villages
Thousands of families reached through mobile screenings and village talks

Community-led, globally inspired
Our outreach is guided by data, yes. But more importantly, it’s guided by the voices of those we serve — mothers, fathers, elders, youth leaders.
Every village, every clinic, every story shapes how we grow. Our goal isn’t to scale. Our goal is to serve better, one community at a time.
